This explains what we do with your personal data when you use this website, and the rights you have over it. We have tried to write it plainly rather than in legal language.

Who is responsible for your data

Energy Home Appliances is the data controller — we decide what is collected and why. You can reach us about anything on this page at:

This website is built and hosted for us by DSM Communications Malta, who act on our instructions as a data processor and may not use your data for their own purposes.

What we collect

You can place a cash-on-delivery order here. We need those details to deliver it. We collect:

• your name
• your delivery address
• your mobile number
• what you ordered

We do not ask for anything else, and we do not buy lists or take your details from anywhere but you.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no profiling of visitors. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, so nothing about your visit is sent to another company.

Why we are allowed to use it

Where you give us your details to be contacted, our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Where you place an order, it is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — we cannot deliver without your address.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is seen only by us, by DSM Communications as our processor, and where you contact us on WhatsApp, by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd as part of carrying that message.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we must keep records for tax or warranty reasons.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop or limit what we do with it;
• hand it to you, or another provider, in a portable form;
• stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interests;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where you gave it. Withdrawing does not undo what we did beforehand.

Write to us using the details above and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with our answer

You can complain to the Maltese supervisory authority, the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Floor 2, Airways House, High Street, Sliema SLM 1549 — idpc.org.mt. You can complain to them without coming to us first.

Changes

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
